From a Huffington Post preview of Bush speechwriter Matt Latimer's new tell-all book:
Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins is fond of sending angry, middle-of-the-night e-mails to staffers because she's frustrated that her colleague and rival Olympia Snowe gets more and better press. As a result, reports Latimer, she rips through press secretaries like 30-packs at a beer-pong tournament. (A Collins press secretary didn't respond to a request for comment.)

If this is the type of stuff--then he's got credability issues.
I am pretty familiar with the Collins folks. This guy is just wrong in his assertion.
My recollection is as follows:
Mark Woodward served for one year, and returned to the BDN.
Felicia Knight stayed for 5 years - which is an eternity in that business --incidentally Felicia Knight returned to the Collins camp as deputy campaign manager in 2008.
Felicia was replaced by Jen Burida who was there for 6 years, and got bumped up to Deputy Chief of Staff.
Kevin Kelly - who was already in the press office for several years moved up to take Jen's place.
So, by account that is 4 press folks in 13 years, which is pretty good in my experience.
Also - aren't kegs the norm in beer pong?
Credability
Thanks for the perspective.
Pot calling the kettle black?
Excuse me is this the same Roy Lenardson who's organization is running a second rate money laundering operation with the Bragdon twins and the Cinquamani character?
Isn't your group currently the subject of an ongoing ethics investigation? www.state.me.us/ethics/meetings/2009/20090908.htm
If so I am not sure your much of an authority on credibility...

Careful Mr. no name - you might hurt my feelings. I am very sensitive, you know.
The Ethics Complaint is
The Ethics Complaint is totally unrelated to Leonardson's point, which is sound. 4 people in 13 years is a pretty low turnover rate in Washington, DC - just ask a cabinet secretary.
