I had intended to write my Down East piece for tomorrow on Neil Rolde's new political novel O. Murray Carr, but that will have to wait. The amount of concentrated insanity packed into Paul LePage's Freedom Train event is impossible to ignore.

Thanks for giving me the excuse to listen to that great Ozzy song once again.

Good to see he continues to take the tea party movement for granted. I am wondering if he thought the tea party movement types would have been pleased to see him walking in a parade with Snowe and taking money from Romney.

Also MPBN repeats the untrue statement that the Republican Party Platform was written by the tea party. It was written by the Knox Country Republicans and no tea party group had anything to do with it. There is a piece on how the document came about, by me, over at the PPH.
