I Hate Small Business

Quote of the day:

"I hate small business, I absolutely hate them, I hate all business, I want to see them completely fail and drive them into the ground."

-Rep. Steven Butterfield, sarcastically defending his support for paid sick days legislation.

"Sarcastically" defending

"Sarcastically" defending support FOR paid sick leave? If you are supporting paid sick leave, you DO hate small businesses and you DO want to drive them into the ground so they fail!

Mr. Butterfield, please go back to Maine Initiatives! You haven't run a small business so you wouldn't understand the issues that small businesses face. If you have no experience in small business, you should not try to set policy that impacts small business. I would not try to set policy for Maine Initiatives because I am not familiar with how Maine Initiatives works. You worked for them so why not focus on them.

By the way, you can tell Libby Mitchell that the United States is trying to fight the war on terror. Changing the title of last years bill, LD 1454, An Act to Care for Working Families, to LD 1665 - An Act To Prevent the Spread of H1N1 is meant to invoke fear. I believe that terrorism is based on invoking fear.
