Matt Gagnon of Pine Tree Politics has taken on the Sisyphean task of writing his own detailed description of every one of Maine's 151 House Districts, starting with District 1. I wish him the best of luck (and humbly suggest that he might find the Citizen's Guide to be a useful companion in his effort).

I suppose political profiles, statistics and political history are my boulder, huh? Can't deny that - I have a weakness for seemingly pointless stuff like that. :-) Although, I do think it has a great deal of value - if for no other reason that giving me a little more insight into specific areas of the state to either justify my preconceived opinions about those areas, or challenge them.
That last issue of the citizens guide that I owned was back in 2004 I believe... probably wouldn't kill me to pick up the updated volume, huh?
