11 members of the Judiciary Committee voted today to give the same-sex marriage bill an "ought-to-pass" recommendation. Two committee members voted against the bill and one voted to "pass as amended" with an automatic referendum attached.
There are four Republicans on the committee. I haven't heard yet how each individual legislator voted.
Update: Jeff Inglis has the votes by member. The vote was along party lines with the exception of Republican Representative Michael Beaulieu of Auburn, who voted with the majority. Senator David Hastings (R-Oxford) proposed the automatic referendum amendment.
